A day at Pathfinder

No two days lookexactly alike.

Because no two learners are exactly alike. Each day blends independent work, mentor support, community time, projects, classes, conversations, and the freedom to pursue individual interests. Here's one way a day can unfold.

a real day, all at once
  1. Morning

    Arrival & check-in

Students settle in and meet with mentors to set intentions for the day: reviewing goals, planning projects, and deciding where to focus.

  2. Late morning

    Independent & project work

Time for long-term projects, classes, reading, research, writing, or building. Mentors circulate to help students plan, problem-solve, and stay unstuck.

  3. Midday

    Community & lunch

Shared meals, board games, conversation, and unstructured time. Friendships and collaboration grow in the in-between moments.

  4. Afternoon

    Classes, collaboration & exploring

Group classes, collaborative projects, pursuing a new interest, or heading out on a field trip into the community.

  5. Throughout the day

    Mentor conversations

Mentors meet with students to set goals, solve problems, reflect on progress, and build the executive functioning skills of an increasingly independent learner.

every day is different

But every student is part of a supportive community where curiosity, growth, and meaningful work are what count.
